Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The whole idea is: collect a bunch of samples, find mean and variance in each sample, then treat the set of variances as a new set of data. Calculate mean and variance of this new set of data (variance of variances) and make the decision if there is a significance difference between collected samples.   • I uploaded a NEW file. I notice that there is a "wrong" formula in the template. The MSB should be computed as n*(sample variance of the means) and NOT n*(sample variance of the sample variances). I verify my answers using data Analysis in Excel. Illowsky book also gives n*(sample variance of the means) as the formula for MSB. I think the teacher would like you to see the error. BTW, when would you like me to be online for your next questions? (date and time zone)
