The topic I have selected for this Public Health Policy Intervention Project is Alleviating Misuse of Marijuana and Addiction among Young People in the wake of Marijuana Legalization. Therefore, the project will examine interventions geared towards curbing and preventing marijuana misuse and addiction amidst drug legalization in the United States of America. This topic is important because it will address the appropriate measures that concerns the growing use of marijuana in America, due to the rise of marijuana use because of legalization of marijuana in America. It is hard to give a blind eye to the effects that can come with legalization of marijuana. This explains why this topic is so important. The relevance of this topic to public health is that marijuana legalization falls among some of the contentious public health issues in the sense that the legalization is mostly being based on the use of the drug for medicinal purposes.
