I have a debate in Islamic philosophy I want an argues for two following claims: (a) A necessary being (or more specifically, God) does not exist; (b) One cannot consistently hold the following two beliefs: (i) God is the efficient cause of the cosmos, and (ii) the cosmos is eternal.
