Instruction
Using academic scholarly research, find an article that addresses an ethical dilemma from the past five years and annotate it thoroughly. What are the key points to the article? Summarize the dilemma. What are the key terms of the article? What conflicts or controversies does it raise? Where can you offer analysis or an original point of view? Once you have a handle on the article and your reaction to the issues it raises, use it as a foundation to Create your own 2-4 paragraph "dilemma.” Apply Kant’s Categorical Imperative to the problem you invent. Apply any other method you have encountered in lecture material and the readings. State which method you prefer and why. Your paper should be 3 pages. You MUST provide the source of the foundation dilemma, and thus this paper will require 1 reference using at least 1 correct in-text citation (indicating quoted or paraphrased material from the article and where to locate it). Use APA format in citing the source. Refer to course resources for details and help in achieving APA style. Create a two minute narrated powerpoint presentation along with the essay.

  • Great job on analyzing the article and the paper format, it's just missing this portion. The extra 2-3 paragraphs of a made up dilemma will also fill up the three page requirement. Just make sure it flows please with a nice introduction and conclusion tying in the article and the made up dilemma. Once you have a handle on the article and your reaction to the issues it raises, use it as a foundation to: 1. Create your own 2-4 paragraph "dilemma.” 2. Apply Kant’s Categorical Imperative to the problem you invent. 3. Apply any other method you have encountered in lecture material and the readings. 4. State which method you prefer and why. If you need a little extra time that's fine.

  • So the paper is supposed to analyze an article AND have a made up dilemma 2-3 paragraphs long 1.Create your own 2-4 paragraph "dilemma.” 2.Apply Kant’s Categorical Imperative to the problem you invent. 3.Apply any other method you have encountered in lecture material and the readings. 4.State which method you prefer and why. You analyzed the article the whole essay instead of doing both. Is there anyway you can fix it again?
    User_8758 | Nov 17, 2017, 23:08 PM
  • Okay I will fix it again .
    ExcellentTutor | Nov 18, 2017, 03:21 AM
  • Thank you!
    User_8758 | Nov 18, 2017, 04:44 AM
  • Do you know about how much longer? Just to clarify all you need to do is add 2 paragraphs of a made up dilemma and use Kant's theory to analyze the article and made up dilemma. Same with the powerpoint, just add in the made up dilemma.
