Point-of-View/Advocacy Paper Assignment: Paper topic: Student will choose: 1) an assessment issue, 2) an ethical consideration, or 3) a controversy involving tests and measurements. Student will determine what his/her point-of-view is concerning this issue, ethical consideration, or controversy. Then the student will write a paper advocating his/her point-of-view surrounding that particular topic. Student must define all terms adequately and support his/her position. Consult rubric for specific details.
