This agency will be a not for profit organization. This will address the problems found in foster care situations especially health care issues
Statistics on foster care nearly 750000 children in foster care, most of which are a result of neglect, physical abuse, parental substance abuse or abandonment.
“Many children enter foster care with chronic health developmental adn psychiatric disorders, reflecting the neglect adn abuse experienced before placement in addition to the trauma from being separated from their parents, yet often do not receive health care.”
Mental health issues (delayed development, trauma from past experiences)
Barriers-not aware of immediate health care needs, moved from place to place so constantly changing doctors, foster parents not empowered to give legal consent treatment for mental health, only routine check-ups(must come from biological parents in some cases)
Many health care providers and mental health professionals have had little training regarding issues specific to children in foster care and may not recognize problems or refer these children for appropriate care.

The name of the agency is “the villages” which is Indiana’s largest not-for-profit child and family services agency.
(Q 3: The creation of an Executive Board to oversee the agency. (The Board should be made up of a president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and general members) Each board member should have a specialty related to the operation of the agency. (Ex. An attorney that can assist with overseeing the legal ramifications of the agency)
President- make sure resources are distributed appropriately, in charge of running board meetings, develop policies within agency, spokesperson of agency
Vice President-assist in staffing organization and supervision
Secretary- detailed record keeping,
Treasurer (accounting background)- track financial needs of the agency (budget), build relationship with potential donors,
General members
Member with social work background-able to assist with placement of children in homes, understand the foster care systems and struggles of moving children around
Lawyer-assist with legal issues encountered with agency, has understanding of contracts signed between foster parents and biological parents
Member with background in public health/ medicine- assist with building relationships between healthcare providers/practitioners andn foster families, be an advocate for the children in health care issues

The agency offers strong missions to the children for enhancing their self- sufficient, including:
· Offering opportunities for the young people to keep them in the right track.
· Offering programs to take care of the children and preparing them for success with high quality.
· Help the young people, those who seeks for getting jobs, support, encouragement, and education.
· Help the families and enhance their finances.

Services are offered Monday through Friday from 8 in the morning to 10 at night. On Saturday, the times will change from 10 in the morning to midnight.
And on Sunday we will be open from noon to 10 at night.

The agency has an enormous system of programming for helping the families and children, such as:
· Adoption; the agency provides special needs adoption internationally and unintentionally, in addition, providing education, preparation, and support.
· Children’s village; taking care of the child in the early ages of the childhood’s development.
· Community partners for child safety; the village of this community provide staff to maintain and enhance the family support system to protect the child nurture.
· Dads Inc; educating and supporting the fathers to establish healthy relationships between the fathers and their children.
· Family services; help the families to enhance their lives by making major life changes, and getting their personal needs.
· Foster care; placing the children with trained families and re-establish an appropriate environment for nurturing the children.
· Healthy families; to prevent the problems later, the agency provide support for strengthening the relationships between the family members in the early years.
· Kinship care; seeking to strength the connection between cousins and family members, including the branches of the kinships.
· PCAI; a village therapy for preventing child abuse.
· Transition to adulthood; supporting the young adults and making sure that they are independents, and productive in the community after leaving the village.
