Instruction
I feel that Journalism class is a very important course to offer to students. It teaches many life skills, such as working together and meeting deadlines. Many different aspects of English and life itself can be touched upon through a journalism course. In the real world, jobs require you to meet deadlines and do your fair share of the work; a journalism class is no different. Both have their requirements and consequences for not accomplishing goals. It’s a great way to prepare students for real world jobs. It’s a shame that many schools don’t realize this. A school paper gives students the chance to voice their opinions as well. I find journalism to be a very helpful and important part of School.
