Reflect on what you have learned and how your understanding of various theoretical models for reading and literacy development grew. Write a four-to-six page paper summarizing the major Developmental Perspective: Theory of Cognitive Development, Maturation Theory, Theory of literacy, Development, Psycholinguist Theory. In the paper provide one or more examples of the ways in which each theory is reflected in a current classroom setting. Conclude your paper with a reflection of what theories you implement in your classroom and why. Do you foresee any of these models being applied to the new literacies and e-reading?
