i need a response . this is the description (For this week’s response, your goal is to reflect upon the two readings, Tatum and Steele. Then, you are to consider an identity that you connect to—e.g. being, white, female, Chinese, black, scientist, etc. Consider the stereotypes of this identity that you connect and think about ways that you have tried to minimize stereotype threat. Key here is an understanding of what stereotype threat is and what Steele describes when he recounts the story of Brent Staples Whistling Vivaldi when walking down the street in Chicago. I’m sure there are several identities that you connect to that have stereotypes associated with them. Consider what those are and then consider how you’ve worked to manage those stereotypes that people have of that identity.
