For 25 marks examine the sports world and related items for one month during the First World War and prepare a scrapbook by copying and “pasting” your discoveries. Sources include: (1, http://eco.canadiana.ca/ - early Canadiana on-line available through Toronto Public Library) (2, Chronicling America, https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov) (3, Toronto Globe or Toronto Star – Proquest available on line through Toronto Public Library membership (free)) Pick a month (Sept. 1915) /year during the First World War Prepare a scrapbook of sporting highlights for that month (10 pages minimum) Provide a commentary on other events of the day (non-sporting) as well as the significance of the sporting items cited
