  • these were the requirements for the PICOT assignment
    User_10869 | Mar 05, 2018, 00:36 AM
  • PICOT is an acronym used to help develop clinical research questions and guide you in your search for evidence: P = Patient population I = Intervention or issue of interest C = Comparison of interventions or comparison of interests O = Outcome T = Time frame For example, you may wish to research the effects of interrupted sleep on cognition of ICU patients 65 or older. Using this PICOT model, In _________(P), how does __________ (I) compared to _________ (C) influence _________ (O) over ________ (T)? In ICU patients who are 65 or older, how does interrupted sleep (awakened one time or more in four hours) as compared to uninterrupted sleep influence the patient’s cognitive ability over 5 days? Assignment Directions Begin by selecting a topic in nursing or medicine that is of interest to you. Next, use PICOT to format possible research questions about that topic. Provide 3 possible PICOT research questions
    User_10869 | Mar 05, 2018, 00:36 AM
  • So the topic and everything are in document 2.
    User_10869 | Mar 05, 2018, 00:36 AM
  • So you need to apply those towards this new assignment
    User_10869 | Mar 05, 2018, 00:37 AM
  • ok thanks

    User_10869 | Mar 05, 2018, 00:42 AM

  • Look! I failed the assignment. I got 119/200
    User_10869 | Mar 06, 2018, 00:50 AM
  • you have significant issues with this assignment. Your references are incomplete so I could not find two of the articles. You critiqued one "article" twice (though I cannot find where this "article" is published). You misidentified them as qualitative research, they are quantitative. The first article is not a research report, which is why most of your responses are blank. As well, you did not identify many of the elements asked in the rapid critical appraisal checklist. Finally, the assignment was to look for the similarities and differences regarding the topic of study, not between qualitative and quantitative - but, you did not have any qualitative studies, anyway.
    User_10869 | Mar 06, 2018, 00:51 AM
