1. Pick your film of choice.
2. Determine THREE main reasons why this movie is good, important, culturally viable, etc. In other words, if you were writing a paper, these three reasons would end up being the topic sentences of your three body paragraphs…
3. Next. Go to three websites to find three sources and a quote from each of the sources to support your points. I have suggested some movie critic websites below.
4. Find ONE source that does NOT think the movie is as good as you do in order to present your opposition.
5. Have a brief conclusion (2-4 sentences) explaining why this movie is SPECIFICALLY important to you.
6. Follow the Powerpoint model below to construct your presentation:
Slide 1: Your name, title of the movie, date
Slide 2: Title of Film, two or three main actors, genre of film
Slide 3: 1st reason why the movie is viable or good
Slide 4: 2nd reason why the movie is viable or good
Slide 5: 3rd reason why the movie is viable or good
Slide 6: 1st quote about the movie with APA citation. You must be able to explain to the class why this quote is significant to your film.
Slide 7: 2nd quote about the movie with APA citation. You must be able to explain to the class why this quote is significant to your film.
Slide 8: 3rd quote about the movie with APA citation. You must be able to explain to the class why this quote is significant to your film.
