Psychology individual personality assignment
You are to write a 1200 - 1500 words essay about the development of your personality using one/or two of the 5 trait personality model (extraversion, neuroticism, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience) and the 5 major psychology theories (psychoanalysis, behaviorism, humanism, biological, and evolutionary).
Basically write about how you became the person you are today, and how experiences from your childhood affected it.
The theories should all be connected in some way and if you are to use 2 personality traits they also must be related. Your whole background is not required, just essential parts that are related
The assignment must be submitted to TurnItIn for a plagiarism check and it must be below 10%.
It must be written in MLA format with
- Times New Roman font
- Size 12
- Line spacing 1.5
In-text citations and references are required if you are going to make statements like "first borns are less open to experience, etc."
You could not use information from the websites
1) Psychology.about.com (Kendra Cherry)
2) Webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/ (George Boeree)
3) ScienceDaily.com
The first 2 attachments are general guidelines on what to do and what not to do.
The second attachment is about the 5 factor personality model.
The third one is the rubric for further guidance on how it will be marked.
The last attachment is marking summary that you are supposed to copy/paste at the end of the essay and before the bibliography/works cited page.
