Instruction
The length of your presentation will be determined by class size/time limitations. Your presentation must adhere to the time limits and schedule set for your section (see notes above for this semester).
Your final presentation proposal indicating thorough research, planning and application of course learning must be submitted one week before your present. Select a topic pertinent to your career goals; you can also clearly apply learning from the chapters we are discussing when individuals in your team present. For example, you may desire to present to a chosen business how to use email professionally. The class will role play your chosen audience/setting; your audience should be a business/professional audience. The professor will approve your proposal via a reply on the discussion board. Proposals will not be accepted after your present (note, the proposal is worth nearly 50% of your score so you will get a failing grade if you do not adhere to this deadline.).
Your presentation must include the most sophisticated visual aids appropriate for your selected topic and audience. During the semester, you must demonstrate proficiency in all types of visual aids available, including Powerpoint and other display devices provided by our College.
At least one week before you present, submit the following planning proposal in the thread provided on the discussion board (rationale should reflect course learning and is worth 50% of each item):
topic choice
audience and setting assumptions
goal of speech, including focus for technical, proposal or sales presentations)
outline of your presentation
complete list of research sources
type of visual aids proposed
brief explanation of rationale for your choices for a-f (address all points above clearly, showing how you can apply learning(
delivery notes with rationale for choices of delivery mode, etc.
During the presentation, you will be critiqued by your instructor and at least 2 teammates. Bring your smart phone to enable a teammate to record a video of your presentation to use for your self critique.
After the presentation, the instructor and peer critiques will be shared with you. With a week of your presentation, submit a reflective critique of your effectiveness after reviewing the presentation recording. (dont forget add proposal paper and add the work cited that been used in the presentation in separate page with the proposal)((my my proposal topic gonna be over Body language and powerful words in communication.)) use simple vocabulary please!!!!
