Instruction
Support your answers with documentation. Use APA style. In addition to margin and spacing standards, this means you should use references, provide in-text citations and a reference page for each answer. You should be able to answer questions sufficiently with the materials from your program courses, including textbooks, articles and books from reviews, and the resources used for other papers and projects, but additional scholarly resources are perfectly acceptable. Use as many references as you need – most sufficient answers use between five and ten references per answer to each question. All answers should be submitted in ONE MS Word document, 12 point Times New Roman font. Each answer should be as long as it needs to be to adequately answer the question – adequate answers have been four to five pages per question (not counting reference or other non-content pages) and focus on factual information gleaned from resources rather than personal reflection or opinion (which is not graded). Once again, each answer should include its own reference page.
Question 3: There are two major approaches of educational research: quantitative and qualitative. Discuss the differences between these two approaches (i.e., what they are, their characteristics, and when one should use them), and give at least 2 examples of each.
Question 4: Describe developmental education and discuss its role in American higher education. In your discussion, address (1) whether developmental education for adult students should be an instructional priority, (2) who should be held accountable for developmental education, (3) whose responsibility is it to remediate or provide developmental education, (4) additional tips/insight you have as to how instructions can deal with developmental education.
Question 5: It can be said that adulthood is a developmental journey with numerous transitions from age 18 through age 80 years, or from young adulthood through senior adulthood. Be able to discuss these transitions in a generalized or specific way.
