In what ways do you think privilege plays a part in police encounters?
Do you think white privilege, something non-whites lack, is really just rights that are protected for whites and not for non-whites (e.g. walking to the grocery store without worrying about being stopped, searched or even killed by police)?
When did you first realize you were white and for my non-white students when did you realize you were a minority? How has that affected the way you see the world, if at all?
Why do you think it’s challenging for some white people to think about (and do something about) white privilege?
For men, have you been in situations where your gender was an advantage for you? For women, have you been in situations where your gender was a disadvantage?
Do you even think white privilege exist, why or why not?...........
