ESSAY 2 Guidelines You will choose one particular news story found in current news media You will then follow this story from two angles and write a reflective essay on your findings Take the news story you have chosen and compare and contrast the media coverage of the story from an USA or American news perspective. Write your findings. American news source would be ABC, CBS NEWS, MSNBC, FOX NEWS, CNN you can also use news websites. Make sure they are from the US. Then take the news story you have chosen and compare the media coverage of the story from a non-USA news media perspective. Make sure your source is from outside the USA. Examples for news sources outside the USA e.g. CBC, BBC, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, Times of India, or any other sources you have found outside the USA. Take your findings from the differences from the two sources and write a 3-5 page double-spaced 12 pt Times New Roman Font reflective response. Writing points: This assignment is to show how different areas of the world view things very differently. So think of how one source is more biased than another. How USA sources differ from international. Overall thoughts found outside the USA of Americans. Think of Government control or censorship of a particular story from USA Media corporations or non-USA government censorships to media. How US Media focuses on less important stories of Celebs and Twitter
