  • Reasons: • Each reason should support your thesis position and answer the question “because,” e.g., the amusement park was fun because we rode all the roller coasters, or the big picnic was fabulous because it was the last time I saw my high school friends before starting college, walking on campus to class from my dorm is hard because of the hills. • Reasons are good topic sentences to begin each paragraph. • Each reason should answer the question because, but it is more interesting not to use the word because in every paragraph. Just that what the advantage/disadvantage of the reason contributes without using because and describe the examples that show it. • There should be 3 to 5 Reasons/paragraph in the body of your paper to make it 3-5 complete pages long.
