3. Select an area of Finance that may attract you as a future career field. Discuss the career options, opportunities and obstacles you may encounter in your chosen field. Be as specific as possible in defining your career interests. Assess the current issues that impact or are currently or expected to transform your industry. Identify the various stakeholders and how the ideas of 'social responsibility' may have an impact on your industry. Consider how the themes discussed in Michael Sandel's book, "What Money Can't Buy" might be relevant in your industry. 6-8 double spaced pages, 12 pt' type.
4. Read and review the names and basic biographies of the 'Prosperity' writers featured in Tom Butler-Bowdon's, "50 Prosperity Classics". Select five of the group, write a 'good' paragraph summarizing the main contribution of each and be prepared to discuss them in class. Entitle this project, "My Prosperity Heroes " submit this in hard copy format on Thursday, April 5.
