I have a writing assignment that I need to have done tomorrow by 8:00 pm EST. I need to write a paper that must be at least one page bu preferably more that answers the following questions and follows the attached grading rubric 1) What are the main events that have influenced school mathematics? (Based on the History of Math Chapter 11, 12, 13) 2) Describe the SMSG reform effort. 3) Read the article on this link. http://www.maa.org/the-school-mathematics-study-group-records Then solve the sample problem from the SMSG curricula found at the end of the article. Describe two solution paths. What are some clarifying or guiding questions that you can ask a student while they solve this problem? In addition, please prepare three discussion questions based on Chapter 12 and Chapter 13 only that will assist you in leading the class discussion along with some good points and evidence that I could use for the discussion. I would also like a brief summary of Chapter 11, 12, and 13 so I can know what the chapters are about.
