  • I already updated the file (Please refer to 2nd file) . For Q1 Long answer, I got df = 122 because I rounded down to the nearest integer, The exact df is 122.9769.

  • It was given as part of the question. Did you see the table under the main question? You will the table with the heading "Regression Statistics". Then on the first row, you will see Multiple R with value 0.9415... then on the second row R Square with value 0.8864... etc. I'm very familiar with Excel, and I know they are output from Excel. The teacher already provided you with the output and we use this output to interpret the results.

  • We are only given the "Excel Output", we are NOT given the data. So our answer is based on the output given to us. Meaning, the teacher already provided the computations, so we don't need to calculate again. We just interpret the computations already given by the teacher.   • I have clarification with Question 1-Long Answer. The last sentence said Use alpha = 0.01 and 44 degrees of freedom. However, we calculated d.f. as 122 if we assume UNEQUAL variances. Which should we follow, 44 or 122? This question is very tricky, it says we should assume unequal variances so we compute d.f. formula for unequal variances, and then suggested ti use df =44.
