Task: Evaluate something on this campus. After closely studying this something, develop fair criteria that you directly draw upon as you convince readers to accept your overall evaluation. Purpose: writing a paper that convinces readers to accept your evaluation of something. Topic: your topic could be any of the following: a specific place, object, event, or service. Do not single out a particular teachers or other individuals. Be careful about evaluating something so large in scope or size that you can not fully evaluate it ( such as entire building) Format: Your evaluating essay should be 900-1000 words. At the top of the first page, indicate the number of words. Underneath your paper's title, write Audience: and take sentence or two to identify your readers. Your audience can be (1) potential users of the thing you evaluate or (2) people who have the power to support the, change, or eliminate the thing you evaluate. Be specific when you identify your audience.

  • I think you have misunderstood the topic; let me explain that again: Remember that your topic must come from something you have observed on campus between when the assignment was given and when you complete your paper, and you need to turn in observation notes. So if you were in the cafeteria eating and observed issues with the food, customers' satisfaction, and such, you may use that. The topic has to come directly from you observation; you will then evaluate your observation. If you were at the medical facility and observed there issues with service, you may choose that; one of your criteria could be the service was slow (I don't know this as I have never actually been). Does that make sense?

  • here is an idea: about a service my university offers to who ever want it which is a clip test for many subject such as chemistry and calculus ( you can read about it online for more information), I had took that test last Friday in Calculus and I didn't pass the exam if I passed it I will take calculus 3 directly but i didn't so i am stuck now with calculus 2. I scored 40 out of 80 and they need 50 out of 80.. the evaluation will be about three major points , First, the difficulty of the exam ; they give many question in Calculus 3 in the exam and if I pass i will study 3 i will just skip Calculus 2 , so they should not give us any question from Calculus 3 I was not prepare for that. Second, If you take the test you will not be able to take it again within 6 month which is unfair cuz I will pass Calculus 2 next semester and i will not need to take it again they should give us another chance to save my time cuz i think i am good in math so i can take calculus 3 next semester . Third, the price of the exam is 110 $ which is too much.. what do you think? If you like it I suggest that you read about the test online it will give a very very good information ..

  • It is a national exam you can get the information by typing clip test in google but my college offers this exam as many university do..

  • Hi, I think you did not get the idea of the clep test, so I am goona explain it one more time. it is an exam if you take it you are gonna to skip calculus 1 and 2 and you will be in 3 , it's optional for those people who think they are so smart and they do not need to take cal 1 and 2 it is not mandatory. if you do not take it, you will take calculus 1 in one semester then 2 in another semester then 3 in another semester. so if some one take the exam this week and he did not pass it , and he is taking calculus 1 this semester. he we will wait 6 months to take it again but he will be next semester taking calculus 2 so even if he take the test after six months and pass it , he will get nothing of it because he is studying calculus 2 at that time and he will take calculus 3 for the following semester(that all about how is it unfair to put 6 months as a minimum between taking the exam twice). The next point is the exam is so expensive , the students who think they are smart to pass this exam and have low income would not risk to lose 110 dollars. the last point , the exam let you pass calculus 1 and 2 so the questions should be about these two subjects, but when i took the exam last Friday i found there are many question from calculus 3, so it either way , the should remove those question which are from calculus 3 or let you pass the calculus 3 if you pass the exam.
