Format for Assignment: Assignment must be organized in three sections: Section 1. In this section update the information in the three paragraphs for 2018, labeled "For Section 1." Use outside research that you judge to be credible. This section should be no more than two paragraphs long. Section 2. In this section answer question 2. In your answers you should use your own ideas about ethics as well. For this section of the assignment use outside sources for reinforcement. This section should be the longest, at about two or more pages long. Section 3. In this section answer discussion question 3. Answer a, b, and c should be in separate paragraphs for each sub section. Answer will require some outside research. Discussion Questions: 1. Are these drinks as dangerous as the critics maintain? 2. Is the banning of Four Loko and kindred beverages an example of legal paternalism? Hint: always begin your answer to a question like this by defining your terms to your imaginary audience. 3. a. In your judgment, what general moral responsibilities do the manufacturers of alcoholic beverages have? Why? b. In your opinion do the makers of alcoholic beverages have any specific moral responsibilities to see that their products are not abused? Why or why not? c. If so, what steps, if any, are they ethically required to carry out these specific responsibilities? Did Four Loko fall down in this respect? What about Moonshot ’69?

  • For the citations put them as footnotes. So name of author, the url and date accessed should be in the footnote of the page. For example if you use a citation on page 2 the footnote of page 2 should have the name of author, the url and date accessed.
