I need this by 6pm. Thank you Use the document in the file to write the thesis statement because this is the topic

Please Read These Directions Carefully! By this point in the term you should have chosen a topic for your paper and developed a claim related to the topic. Remember, an argumentative research topic should be something that is controversial enough to have two easily identifiable sides – a “for” and an “against” -- but not something that relies too heavily on emotion. Submitting Your Thesis Statement & Introduction For this discussion, post your topic and your introduction to your argumentative research paper. Make sure to underline your thesis statement within the introduction. This is necessary to show readers the argument you plan on presenting to your audience. Your introduction should show your personal connection and/or interest in your topic, the argument you are presenting in the paper, and give your reasoning for why you believe what you do. (Remember from the lectures in Unit 1 that your thesis statement should be an explicit one - that is, tell us your claim and 3 reasons that support the claim. A strong thesis statement is critical to a successful argumentative paper, and if you have that in place now, you will find the structure of the paper will progress smoothly). Finally post a description of your audience - will the audience be on your side? Wavering? Or will they need convincing? You should post your topic and thesis statement by midnight on Thursday. Responding to Your Peers Respond to two (2) of your peers' posts by midnight on Sunday. In your responses, offer suggestions and advice by answering the following questions: Is the writer’s topic too broad or too narrow? Are there other perspectives that the writer may need to consider? Is there an opposing claim that should be considered? Are there sources that you know of that will help the writer as he or she progresses with the paper? Make suggestions for how the writer might construct his or her argument based on the audience. Remember to proofread your posts and to be constructive and helpful.
