The task is a research driven assignment. This assignment will prepare you for the lesson. If you meet in on campus class, bring the task assignment with you to class. If you meet online, bring the task assignment to your live sessions.
Part 1: Using the Creativity Training techniques, create 5 broad research project topic ideas. The ideas may be vague or concrete. They may be large or specific. Either way, they should be personal to you. Draw a concept map or list the 5 topics. Describe why you chose the 5 topics. Then complete part 2 of the assignment.
Part 2: Design a document with resources you can use in developing data collection techniques. For each of your research topics chosen above, begin to think about (adding ideas to the chart below) these 5 questions:
What types of data should be collected
When should data be collected (indicate whether it is a one time collection, quarterly, or yearly)
How data might be collected (this can be refined as you move forward)
From whom data will be collected
Why the data is to be collected.
* the example of the data collecting is below
