  • In my opinion, I do not think that a couples needs are complementary when they think or say that they found their Mr. or Mrs. Right because they need to continue to improve their relationship no matter what. I do strongly agree that people can be "in love" and not be "right" for each other. I think highly of that because I witnessed and experienced it from my friend’s relationships as well as my own relationship. According to the text, some relationships are not always good because each partner can have certain beliefs about some things so they may not always agree with each other. Just because there is not an agreement does not mean that a couple is not right for each other (Chapter 5, pg. 112-113). As I was reading chapter 5, it helped me get more of a perspective of how much today's society is changing.

I also think that someone will know if they have located their suitable mate by how well they connect, if they have a good bond, are trustworthy and honest, as well as attracted to each other. There are many other reasons someone might think that they have located or found their future wife or husband, but it just varies.
