Students will compose a reflection based on the event they attended in association with The Beautiful Struggle. The reflection is personal, but should address how attending the event illuminated the text for you. Think about it in terms of how the text was discussed in class, what you thought of the text as you read it, and what opinions you formed of the text based on the blog entires. How did the event you attended enhance or alter your thoughts about the book? What specifically about the event caused you to respond the way that you did? What are your thoughts on the text now? The reflection should be 2 pages in length THE BOOK'S NAME IS THE BEAUTIFUL STRUGGLE AND THE AUTHOR'S NAME IS COATES....

  • there are many blogs...one of them is basketball and it talks about how the author states how his jumper careened over the backboards and his foul shot were all left of the rim. in line 114 he uses his flaw in himself to make an example of certain aspects he has observed in others as well. He notices that everybody has something they are not good at and not perfect. This showed him that what mattered to these boys was not so much what you came to the streets with but how you carried what you were given.

  • another blog was about Adidas ....The author mentions Adidas sneakers. one of the events is a kid making fun of Coates for not having Adidas sneakers( Coates 6). This shows that Adidas were one of the main fashions in sneakers in the 1980s.This event shows that Coates was not rich and could not afford to buy Adidas. He shows the reader that it was not easy growing uo in Baltimore.

  • another blog was about Rap Music ....In the book, rap was eye opening for Ta-Nehisi. Rappers like Chuck D had spoken to him unlike ever before. it had become a language for him and he wanted to learn before. As Ta-Nehisi began to write, he looked for material, substance. in his quest he began to find him self . The music is what helped connect Ta-Nehisi to a culture, his culture. and you know today rap is all over the world.

  • The author came by and talked in the university for one hour event ...I think he means that. please my friend reduce the bed and let me assign you...you have more that 1 week to do 2 pages.   • I am sorry. I got 2 new projects within the last hr that are going to give a very tight cramped work-space. I can do this assignment still but unfortunately I would not be able to pull it off for $30 because of these new big projects that I just got assigned. I can do it for $45. The hrs put into each assignment and budgeting are how I expedite bid pricing decisions. With the new projects, the hrs and everything change because I have to resort out the time-frames (take hrs out from other more expensive assignments etc.). I have no choice here unfortunately, I would have to go up $45 unless I was already assigned before I mentioned this

  • As far as already explaining the blogs to me and all, I am very sorry. Just copy/paste those to the other bidders if you cannot afford to go up any higher. I don't like having to change my price once a customer shows interest but in this case it is absolutely crucial. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to put the time into your assignment that I would need to get you an A. And I refuse to take on assignments if I can't get the A for sure. :)
