Objective 602.6.1-14: Discuss the use of technology to acquire, assess, analyze, and communicate scientific information.
Given:
Scientific inquiry is an essential skill necessary to learn science. In order to develop this skill, students must actively participate in the process. Technology provides a means for acquiring, assessing, analyzing, and communicating the scientific information necessary to participate in scientific investigation.
Task:
Write an essay (suggested length of 34 pages) in which you describe how technology is used to acquire, assess, analyze, and communicate scientific information. In your essay:
A. Discuss how you could use technology to:
1. Acquire scientific information/data
2. Assess the quality and consistency of the acquired scientific information/data
3. Analyze the results and conclusions from the scientific information/data
4. Communicate the results of the findings
5. Access resources, collect and process data, and facilitate learning of science through the use of technological tools, including but not limited to computer technology
B. When you use sources, include all in-text citations and references in APA format.

Note: When using sources to support ideas and elements in a paper or project, the submission MUST include APA formatted in-text citations with a corresponding reference list for any direct quotes or paraphrasing. It is not necessary to list sources that were consulted if they have not been quoted or paraphrased in the text of the paper or project.
