Planning a Response Preparation Read the case study in the pages provided of O’Hair et al. about Greg and his vegan diet. As you read the case study, try to see the situation through the eyes of your character, Amanda, and Greg. Think about which character you might identify most with, and which characters you feel are behaving correctly or incorrectly. Each character has a Discussion Questions different perspective, and these points of view are in conflict. Consider this case study in light of the information about culture in Chapter 5, and then think about how you would respond to the situation created by Amanda’s concerns about Greg’s vegan diet.

Instruction
Read over the pages included and use specific references from them to respond to the questions asked. Discussion Questions For this discussion, choose to create either an ethical response to Amanda or an ethical conversation with Greg in which you react to this situation and express your feelings or concerns. Then provide a suggested message utilizing the suggestions for improving intercultural communication that you would deliver to either Amanda or to Greg in no less than one paragraph. After presenting your suggested message, explain how you used key ideas from this module by applying concepts related to intercultural communication: How did you approach this conversation using the suggestions for improving intercultural communication? How did you express mindfulness, empathy, or a desire to learn? How do you expect the receiver to react to your message?

  • how many pages?and how soon do you need this paper?
    Dr_Newton | Oct 05, 2018, 03:58 AM
  • One important piece of information. When you are writing, please be sure to reference important content from the text pages provided. The textbook is O'Hair, D., Wiemann, M., Mullin, D. I., & Teven, J. (2018). Real communication: An introduction (4th ed.). New York: Bedford/St. Martin's. for citing purposes.
    User_17410 | Oct 05, 2018, 04:02 AM
  • I need the paper by 9pm tonight eastern standard time if possible. Its more so about the content and not the amount of pages. Maybe 1 full page? I don't see it taking several pages as this is a response for a class discussion. However, it must use references and examples from the text specifically.
    User_17410 | Oct 05, 2018, 04:07 AM
  • ill be uploading this paper asap

    User_17410 | Oct 06, 2018, 00:08 AM

    Dr_Newton | Oct 06, 2018, 00:09 AM
  • I'm not seeing it on my end but I did upload them. If you didn't get it, I can allow you more time to revise the paper since this wasn't your fault. Is that ok? I noticed when I read the paper that it didn't seem to match my material

  • kindly make sure your internet connection is okay, then confirm all the files you need are there. no pressure though okay?
    Dr_Newton | Oct 06, 2018, 00:15 AM
  • All the correct files are uploaded. Some went twice because the feature looks like it added them, but sometimes it doesn't. (hence what happened previously) So the questions should make a lot more sense now. please be sure to answer all questions completely :) and site specific references in the text I provided. We had a hiccup but lets try this one more time. Thank you!
    User_17410 | Oct 06, 2018, 00:49 AM
  • you are welcome and i might need that bonus
    Dr_Newton | Oct 06, 2018, 00:50 AM
  • please message me if you have questions. The page that you want to start with is upload #14. that's the story that matches the questions. Its called "evaluating communication ethics" That is not a soy substitute.
