 View Work

Write a journal assignment responding to this week’s readings and themes from the perspective of questions of gender and power. Use your journal to reflect freely on the dynamics of power as they exist along the lines of class, gender, age, and race in Marguerite Duras’s novel The Lover and Eileen Chang’s short story “Sealed Off.” Quote examples from the text that struck you as particularly significant in terms of these themes.

Date Posted: 28/10/2018
Category: Literary Studies
Due Date: 28/10/2018
Instruction
The journal entry must be one to two pages in length, double-spaced, and size 12 font. Please make sure that the journal entry is thorough, that the grammar and punctuation are correct, that the sentences are well-structured and complete, and that the transitions are smooth. Included as an attachment is an overview of the learning module that goes with this assignment. Hopefully it will provide an idea as to what we are studying and what the journal entry is supposed to reflect. Thank you.
