(2017). Terrorism and Homeland Security (9th ed.). Belmont, CA: Wadsworth/Cengage. Discuss the structure, management, and financing of terrorist organizations. Discussion Part 2: Holt, Thomas J. (2016). Crime Online: Correlates, Causes, and Context, 3rd Edition. Carolina Academic Press. Holt, Thomas J., George W. Burrus, & Adam W. Bossler. (2015). Policing Cybercrime and Cyberterror. Carolina Academic Press. According to Chapter 3, Professor Johnny Nhan discusses some of the countermeasures that the entertainment industry has taken in order to mitigate online piracy. After reading and reflecting on this chapter, do you feel as though the entertainment industry has been overly aggressive or perhaps not aggressive enough in attempting to protect its “property” from copyright infringement? Take a position either way and fully defend it. Next, consider the work-at-home scams that are discussed in Chapter 4. Of the various schemes that were presented which did you find to be the most effective and why? Next, according to Chapter 4, work-at-homes scams are the fifth most scam distributed as of 2010. If a similar study were replicated today, would you suspect that work-at-home scams would be constitute a higher percentage of spam, a lower percentage, or about the same? Fully elaborate and point to various aspects of Chapter 4 to bolster your argument. In addition to fully responding to the above questions, also point to one aspect of either Chapter 3 or Chapter 4 that you found to be of interest and be sure to explain why it is relevant to the study of cybercrime. Next, please pose an original critical thinking question to your peers. Really try to come up with a question that is challenging and brings out the best in your classmates ---450 words Minimum for each Part. The post meets the required minimum standards, including word count and the use of at least three reference sources. The post fully addresses the topic(s). The post expresses original thought that substantially contributes to the online conversation in a meaningful way.
