Read the following pages from chapter 3 in A Little Argument: page 46 page 50-57 pay close attention to the section on “fallacies.” Then, read the attached pdf (article over seven-year-old child’s suspension). Read the Enduring Question and the question that follows. First, identify the “problem.” Put some thought into this. The problem is not implicitly-stated in the article. This is one you will have to think about. (Critical thinking.) Is the problem the policy? Why is there a policy? What problem created the policy? Discuss the problem, what might have created it. Finally, discuss a possible solution. This solution will engage the issue of policy, how it’s created, how it’s applied. Two or more full paragraphs, using support from the article and RENNS. (If you wish to look up info to support your argument, name the source for this assignment—no link required.)
