This skill is also important as you begin reviewing research articles for your own literature reviews and research proposals. Scenario: Your principal or administrator recently read an article related to your field and wants your opinion on it. Read one of the attached content area research articles and critique the articles data analysis, results, and conclusions for adequacy. Task: A. Summarize the research study. Include the following in your summary: Subjects or participants Methodology Data collection procedures Data collection instruments B. Explain the adequacy of the following: 1. Data analysis procedures 2. Study results C. Evaluate the conclusions of the research study. D. Discuss how the data analysis, results, and conclusions for the research study are interrelated. E. Explain the significance the study has in your instructional setting or in your field. F. When you use sources, include all in-text citations and references in APA format.
