Instruction
Students will choose from the following topics on which to write a minimum 7 page paper. Prepare the paper according to APA specifications, with a cover page, one inch margins, double spaced text, and 12-pt Time Roman font (ignore the APA requirement of a running header). A final “draft” version of the paper is due October 15, 2018. The final version of the paper is due November 19, 2018. Research papers must be submitted through Black Board. Hard copies of the paper will not be accepted. Any late papers will not be accepted without a valid excuse. Even then a 10 point a deduction per day will be assessed to all late papers with or without a valid excuse.
For the research paper, students will use scholarly peered reviews from the UHD library databases only. Apart from the UHD library database, the only outside source students may use is the assigned textbook for this course, Community Based Corrections (11th ed.).
Option A: Explain what the restorative justice program is and its impact on juvenile recidivism. Can at risk youth be diverted from crime?
Option B: Discuss why community correction is the most cost effective alternative to incarceration and best at integrating offenders back into the community
Option C: Explain the long term effects of parental incarceration. Is there a link between parental incarceration and negative consequences for children and adolescents?

The work cited page has to be in alphabetical order
