Instruction
Answer the following questions to discussion tonight 9pm
Present an application of a wave phenomena to studies in a field of science or engineering other than physics. Your examples may be taken from, but are not limited to, sound engineering, instrument making, medical imaging, non destructive testing, oil explorations, earth quake prediction, and Tsunami warning systems. No matter what field you choose the wave phenomena.
I) what media, if any, do the waves propagate?
2)Are the waves in this application transverse, longitudinal, or both? If either transverse or longitudinal waves are missing from the application explain why?
3)On what parameters of the media (pressure, temperature, mass, density,... ) does the wave speed depend?
4)In general, what is the relationship between the wavelength, the frequency, and the wave speed?
5)Define diffraction, diffusion, constructive interference, and destructive interference as general properties of waves.
6)Discuss how diffraction, diffusion, constructive interference, and destructive interference appears in your application. If it does not appear explain why not.

Assemble your lab report in the following order:
Page 1: Title page with abstract.
Page 2 - 4: Begin the body of your report with the Introduction, General Principles, Methods, Results, and finally the Conclusion.
Last Page : Include references, all properly cited on the last page.
The report must be accurate and clean.
The report must be done ONLY in Word Document.
Your data must be organized in table using Excel.
Then, copy and paste your table to your Report.
Use the Excel for the graphing.
Copy / past the graph to your report under "Conclusion/ Analyze" section.
Upload as a separate file with a data excel table and graph.
Add the calculation in your report using the “Formulas” function.
