Instruction
Create a Marketing Campaign for the Ritz-Carlton Naples Beach Resort. Your final project will need to include a 5-7 page paper (in APA format with references incorporated throughout the paper) describing the components of the campaign, including the target market, all advertising, events, social media, etc. A budget will need to be included as well.
The budget would cover any expenses and costs that you would need to spend to execute your proposed marketing campaign.
The figures you use for this budget should be extracted from given rates that you find via the Internet, industry reports, or public domain reports. Remember to reference your materials.
**Suggested outline: Part 1 - Intro, Strategy for campaign, Target Market, Goals, Creative (images, copy, etc.); Part 2 – Tactics to be used (e.g. TV, Radio, Print, Social Media, Events, etc.) and why, what won’t be used and why; Part 3 – Budget; Part 4 – conclusion and next steps**
Keep in mind: Who are you trying to reach? What is the goal of this particular marketing campaign? How will you reach your target market? What would you spend on this marketing campaign? What type of return on investment (ROI) are you expecting? All of these questions should be answered within your paper. For example, you may decide to launch a marketing campaign to promote an area hotel to local residents during the summer months. Your goal might be to increase room sales by 25%. Your tactics might include a Facebook advertising campaign and contest targeting local residents. Using Facebook and social media would help to keep your budget low. You would need to detail all of this in your paper.
Support your marketing recommendations with sources used in this class or other library-quality references (you can find some in the Modules and the Library online). Make sure that you demonstrate understanding of key marketing concepts learned during this course. Submit your paper in the Canvas classroom.
Note. Any figures, tables and graphics are not considered part of the page count. It would be best to place those items within the appendix section of your submission. In the body of the text you will simply indicate something like...'please see figure 1...please see table 1...or see graphic 1.' In short, the page count applies to the body of your submission and does not include the cover page, reference list, or appendix items.
REFERENCES (PAGE OR PAGES) DO NOT COUNT AS PART OF THE PAGE COUNT.
