Instruction
My topic is “Proverbs as West Indian oral literature.”
Steps:
1. Choose the following databases , one at a time: ACADEMIC SEARCH COMPLETE, GOOGLE SCHOLAR, JSTOR, MLA INTERNATIONAL BIBLIOGRAPHY, and PROJECT MUSE. There will be some overlap. Make sure to avoid repetition when you create your bibliography.
Expand the bibliography to two pages. Each page, correctly done, should contain about twelve citations. Each citation must be relevant to the given topic, and must be formatted correctly.
In your own words, list or explain the steps that you took to research your chosen topic and produce the bibliography, according to the given instructions. As you create your list, imagine that your ideal reader is a fellow College student who has not yet done any library research. Do not overlook any step; do not take anything for granted.
The chosen topic must be centered on the first page. The list/explanation and the bibliography should be combined into one document, with the bibliography placed after the list. See example below.
