Instruction
Create a Leadership Development Plan for yourself. Incorporate information you have read, results of assessments you have completed, knowledge you have gained about the topic of leadership, and your estimation of your strong points, areas for improvement, and future opportunities you would need to increase your leadership potential. The Leadership Development Plan should have three parts:
Part One – Describe your Goal(s) or Objective(s) to improve your leadership and provide development to your style, etc.
Part Two – Describe the Steps You Can Take to Accomplish the Goal or Objective, this could include soliciting feedback from others, reading on the topic, asking for support from your organization, seeking training, taking additional assessments, etc.
Part Three – Evaluation – How will you know if you are successful or moving in a forward direction? How can you measure progress? What time is required? What support will you need to know?
