  • Introductory Issue Assignment You will complete about half of a typical issue assignment: Each student will write a brief (1-2 sentence) explanation of the issue, 2 elaborative discussion questions and example answers, report on 2 media examples, and write about 2 class concepts. Submissions & Format • Submissions will be about 2-3 pages long, double-spaced, in a regular 12-point font (e.g., Times, Arial), with 1-inch margins. Use the format example on the next page. • Do not use exact quotes. Since these reports are brief, you can show your understanding best by writing completely in your own words. • Be sure to include a Reference Page and cite references in your work. You will be citing only class notes, an assigned article, and the textbook. Do not use other sources for this assignment.
