Grading rubric for essays (25 points possible): Student demonstrates understanding of course material: 0-10 points Student properly applies the course material to essay question: 0-10 points Essay structure, including grammar/sentence structure/spelling/essay coherence: 0-5 points (Note: If any portion of the essay is shorter than the required minimum length, this “essay structure” score will be 0 points) it's short scenario with 3 questions . the assignment is 30 min only since it is timed writing assignment .the main topic are tort , liability and contract formation . we cant see the scenario until we open the assignment

Date Posted: 28/02/2019
Category: Law
Due Date: 28/02/2019
Instruction
The writing assignment must be completed by Thursday, February 28, at 10:00 p.m. (EST). Students will have 30 minutes to complete the assignment once it is opened. Students may consult their textbook and/or my PowerPoint slides ONLY when completing the essays, but may not consult with others, nor utilize the internet, notes, or any other resource. As this is a timed assignment, students may not exit the assignment, then re-open it; the assignment must be completed within 30 minutes of opening the assignment. Answers may include no more than 20 words of direct quotation from the textbook, PowerPoint slides, or the assignment itself, so long as proper citation is used. The rest of the answer must be entirely in the student’s words. Any answer that includes exact words from the textbook or assignment without proper citation (rather than the student’s own words) will receive a 0 on the assignment. Any answer that indicates use of an outside source (or any other violation of academic integrity) will be considered an Honor Code violation and, thus, will receive a 0 on the assignment . I will provide the PowerPoints.

  • Dahlia Dippleton, armed with a hand gun concealed under her shirt, enters Daring Disco (a nightclub) at 11:45 p.m. after showing her identification to the door man and paying the entry fee. Ten minutes later, Dippleton begins firing her gun into the crowd, killing two people and injuring eight people. While this nightclub had experienced serious fights before, in which the police had been called, those fights had involved drunk patrons and no weapons. Hinton Hinderson, one of the ten injured patrons, sued Daring Disco for negligence, after incurring a gunshot wound in the incident. Hinderson’s attorney argues better security would have prevented Dahlia Dippleton from entering the nightclub with a gun
