Critical thinking for Macintosh Forensics:

Date Posted: 17/03/2019
Category: Computer Science
Due Date: 21/03/2019
Instruction
In this assignment, you assume the role of an employee of the DigiFirm Investigation Company. One of your clients is a small music production company. One day you receive a phone call from Andrea, the owner and president of the music company. Andrea believes one of her employees, a sound technician, has been stealing intellectual property from the company. She thinks he is copying original music scores and then selling them to upstart musicians, claiming that he wrote them. Andrea checked the employee’s computer the previous night and thinks he has been deleting the files to cover his tracks. Andrea’s employee uses a Macintosh computer. There are several tools available for recovering files that have been deleted from a Mac, including: • Mac Keeper Files Recovery, • Mac Undelete, and • Recuva for Mac. Although all the tools accomplish the same goal, each has one or more unique features. You should consider the full capability set of each tool when gathering information and determine which tool would be the best choice for the scenario in this assignment. You will research three tools that can aid in recovering deleted Macintosh files and write a paper about their capabilities. You must also recommend one product for use in this case and justify your recommendation. Deliverable: For this assignment, you are to: Research three tools that can aid in recovering deleted Macintosh files, compare the capabilities and, write a professional report in which you recommend one product for use in this case and justify your recommendation. Your report will be 4 pages in length. Your report must adhere to the APA style guidelines, citing references as appropriate.

  • I will only tell you one thing, Anas. I wish you all the best with whoever you assign your assignments to. I guess everything has a start and an end. You found me having customers and as you leave, you leave me with customers. Some of which pay $50 for a two page. Some pay even willingly $100 for a 4 page paper. You have to learn to appreciate the help you get from tutors and not just feel bitter about the money you pay. If you think that I was aking too much from you, well, you are wrong. We made a deal with you that I will do your 4 page papers for $35 each. Then you brought a 5 page and I told you I will do it for $45. Then you complain that I am making you uncomfortable by asking for more. Well, go ahead and assign to whoever you want and all the best. However, I hope Dr. Edward Santiago will like the papers from those other writers. All the best Alsuwailem. If you ever feel that you need my help to write your papers, feel free to come back. Haha. Thanks.
