Here is your task: As an expert in a current issue in the field of education and/or school nursing (the topic of your book), you have been invited to a meeting to give a 2-minute talk. (You name the meeting…School Board? Parent organization? Faculty? Students? Community group? Church group?) Using your two articles or book of choice as a basis, you will prepare your remarks in either paragraph or presentation form and post them in the discussion area of Brightspace. In 2-3 paragraphs or 5-8 slides, summarize your articles or book so others can learn. Please include: A summary (abstract) of the content of the two articles or book as related to a current issue in education/school nursing How the content relates to the current state of education/nursing. You are welcome to include your own experience and/or philosophy. How the content relates to the meeting participants: Why (or why not) is it important for the participants to know about the book? How might the content be useful to them? The challenge for this assignment will be to be concise within the parameters of the assignment. Each class member will be reading the work of others online, so this is an opportunity for all to learn more about many current issues in the field.
