• example of the technique in one of the texts we discussed (use a QUOTATION)

A 1500 word fully self-contained creative work demonstrating in practice one or more of the techniques discussed in the class (techniques include: PROSE STYLES, WAYS OF SEEING- IMAGERY, WAYS OF SEEING- NARRATORIAL CONSCIOUSNESS, THE VOICES OF PLACE- CLOSE AND FAR)
Pick one or more techniques listed above and write a 1500 word fully self-contained creative piece.

A 500-word reflection on why and how you used the technique(s).
Please note:
- Times New Roman font, 12 point, one-and-a-half or double line spacing
- If you are referring to other works (e.g. in a ficto-critical piece), please reference and add a bibliography (it is not included in word count)
This assignment is a 1500-word creative piece (NOT an academic essay – it must be fiction, creative non-fiction or ficto-critical work) using one or more of the techniques discussed in the seminar. It also includes a 500-word reflection on why and how you have employed the technique/style. (Total 2000 words)
