This assignment has two parts: (1) Give your opinion on which two of George Washington’s 114 Rules of Civility would be most important to you and why. Our text lists 20 on page 478 in Figure 14.1. (Respect, Reverence, Keeping Privacy, Empathy, Mercy, Equality, Politeness, Modest, Sympathy, Tenderness, Self-control, Reasoning, Keeping coming, etc) (2) The second part of this discussion is the last in which you are to consider yourself a police officer: You and your spouse are attending a cook-out at the home of the spouse’s brother. You both are enjoying yourself. Several children are in attendance. At some point you go into the house to use the restroom and see your brother in law taking a hit of cocaine in his bedroom. Your brother in law spent a year in prison 10 years ago for drug possession. To your knowledge he has been clean since then. He obviously knows you are a police officer. What is your response? Do you arrest him, ignore his actions, lecture him, etc. Using APA format (intext citation needed), answer the above in 800 words without counting words in the reference and cover page.
