Current events include any hospitality/culinary/tour and travel news, issues or trends occurring within the past 6 months. Include the title of the article, source, author and publish date at the top of your report. Prepare a summary of the article in your own words including implications on the hospitality industry; conclude with a paragraph describing your opinion of the current event as it relates to the textbook, your experience and classroom discussions. 2-3 pages should suffice for the entire report. Be prepared to share a summary of your current event with a small group in class.
