2 page apa format The Canvas Case Study is a 4-part assignment in which candidates will examine various aspects of healthy development through topics required to be covered by the State of California Standards. You will examine the standards, and then in subsequent weeks you will locate, look at and share various sources of information relating to teaching healthy habits to students. Download CA Health Education Content Standards. This will guide your case study as you will choose a particular grade level to examine, and plan curriculum for diverse students in those areas. See cde.ca.gov Content Standards: Health Education Standards. There are 8 standards, and related topics under each as well as grade level appropriate goals. These will be your guide in your health related curriculum in a multiple subject classroom. The lesson plan will be two parts geared to a younger and older elementary setting. The Multipart Plan must be inclusive to diverse students of various abilities and must show the incorporation of family activities and participation. Key topics that must be addressed are related to drug and alcohol education, tobacco avoidance, healthy and age appropriate information regarding sexuality, and issues related to gender diversity.
