You may receive up to 20 points of extra credit by doing the following:
Watch the movie “Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room.” This documentary investigates the rise and fall of the energy giant Enron. It is a classic expose on the principal-agent problem and market failure. After you watch the movie, write a 2-3 page paper (double-spaced, 12-point font, 1” margins) that:
1. summarizes the movie’s content, as it relates to what we’ve discussed in class
2. indicates what you, personally, found most interesting and insightful about the movie
3. indicates what questions and/or disagreements you still have after watching the movie

OR
Watch the PBS show “Inequality for All.” This Bill Moyers & Company episode features economist Robert Reich and examines the rising income (and wealth) inequality in the United States in recent decades. You can find the program at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-rpkZe2OEo . After you watch the movie, write a 2-3 page paper (double-spaced, 12-point font, 1” margins) that:
1. summarizes the movie’s content, as it relates to what we’ve discussed in class
2. indicates what you, personally, found most interesting and insightful about the movie
3. indicates what questions and/or disagreements you still have after watching the movie
