Question 1:
DQ1. There are three types of plate boundaries, but dozens of examples of each. Choose one boundary type, and describe how the plates move relative to each other, and physical features found with it. Identify an example, and explain where it is, the plate names that are involved, and rate of relative movement.

There are three main types of volcanoes, and a few special cases, but hundreds of examples on planet Earth. Choose one type of volcano and describe it. Identify where it is, what type it is, its last eruption, and eruptive style.
Question 2: DQ2. Rocks and Minerals
Humans use rocks and minerals for our everyday lives, which no other animal can do. Choose one rock, mineral, or mineraloid and describe what it is and how it forms. Explain why humans would mine it for non-health related, everyday uses.
Question 3:
DQ3 Mass Wasting
Using your textbook and internet, research a type of mass wasting, and describe the type of movement and components involved. Find an example of one somewhere on planet Earth to share with the class. Include the nature of the effects.
Question 4: DQ4. Ocean issues
Research one of the many problems in the oceans caused by humans, such as plastic trash, overfishing, ghost fishing, marine dumping, oil spills, or other (there are many). Explain the problem, what or who it affects, and offer suggestions to resolve, reverse, or decrease the problem.
