you will need to locate a pdf version of a green building case study. You will need to find a case study that is certified by one of the agencies identified in the course lectures. You will need to submit the pdf version of the case study along with your assessment. Case studies can be found online through a Google search or through the databases of certification organizations as well as many other places. Once you have identified your case study you will need to analyze it using similar methods to those outlined in the case study video. Provide clear discussions, pros and cons, and be sure to relate your analysis to the course material. If something is missing from the case study, discuss how it could/should be applied or included in the project. Many of the case studies will be missing an aspect or two of the course and this is ok, as long as you identify it and provide a discussion about it. a minimum of four pages with APA style.

Introduction The paper provides a clear introduction to the case study. This includes the information about the building (size, occupancy, use, etc.), previous certifications as well as those being pursued. Remember that this section identifies factors such as the environment which you will need to research beyond the information in the case study. Body analysis, pros, and cons The body of the paper must provide a detailed analysis of the building, its systems, material choices, and the level of participation from the occupants. You should include certifications that were or should have been pursued. Again, the video does provide some examples. Body, course relation The body should also provide course material tie-in. Every week the modules covered topics from embodied energy, active and passive systems and lights to green material selection and certification. Even biomimicry should be considered in the discussion. Be sure to include these discussions where appropriate. Conclusion This section of the paper should provide an overview of the analysis and a detailed discussion on why or why not, the building is sustainable. Case Study Provided a certified (by one of the accrediting bodies discussed in class) case study. a minimum of four pages for this paper, single space with APA style.
