1. How do the concepts of race and ethnicity differ? Consider yourself or someone you know well, like a spouse, in-law, or close friend. Use the links provided and classify the way you believe the US Census and Conley would and detail ethnic background. For example, according to the US Census, your professor is racially ‘white.” Like many Americans of European descent, she has mixed ethnic ancestry, from England, Scotland, Scandinavia, Alsace, Austria, France, and Italy (Piemonte, Alp area).
